For Pymble families, good North Indian food shouldn't mean a drive into the city. Jai Ho is barely two minutes up the Pacific Highway in Turramurra — close enough to be your local, with the cooking, the function room and the BYO value to earn the trip.

Why Pymble Families Make Jai Ho Their Local

Why Pymble Families Make Jai Ho Their Local

Pymble runs on busy household schedules — school runs, sport, music, work. Jai Ho fits neatly into them: a quick midweek family dinner after training, a relaxed weekend table, or a takeaway to eat at home when nobody feels like cooking.

We're a genuine sit-down restaurant, not a ghost kitchen — so when the Pymble Ladies' College parents or the local sporting clubs want somewhere close for a group, they know there's a real room and a real kitchen behind it.

From Weeknight Dinners to Pymble Celebrations

When a birthday, anniversary or work dinner outgrows the dining room at home, our upstairs function room seats up to 60 with banquet menus at several price points. Prefer to host in Pymble? Our catering team can bring the feast to you.

Either way it's authentic North Indian — rich curries, tandoor breads, generous vegetarian options — done properly.

About Pymble

About Pymble

Pymble (postcode 2073) is one of the Upper North Shore's classic leafy suburbs, immediately south of Turramurra along the rail line. It's known for large Federation and interwar family homes on bushland blocks, established gardens, and a professional, family-heavy demographic.

Landmarks like Pymble Ladies' College, the Avon Road and Grandview Street pockets and Robert Pymble Park give the suburb its character. These are households that entertain and value a quality local — which is exactly where a restaurant like ours fits in.

A Couple of Minutes from Pymble

We're just up the Pacific Highway from Pymble — around two minutes by car toward Turramurra. From here we also serve Gordon, Killara and Turramurra, so wherever you are on this stretch of the North Shore, you're close.

Dinner Hours, BYO and What to Order

We're open for dinner seven nights, 5:30–10pm, with lunch added Saturday and Sunday, 11am–3pm — so there's always a Pymble-friendly time to book. BYO wine or beer is welcome (corkage applies, and we'll have the glassware ready), or go non-alcoholic with a mango, sweet or strawberry lassi, masala chai, soft drink, juice or mineral water — an easy pick for the kids at the table.

Start with something off the tandoor — chicken tikka, lamb cutlets or fish tikka, alongside naan cooked to order — then let the curries do the talking. Our dal makhani sits overnight on the charcoal for real depth, and if the table wants to keep it mild, butter chicken and mango chicken are always crowd-pleasers.
