Jai Ho doesn't serve Turramurra from somewhere else — we're right here, at 1257 Pacific Highway, and have been since 2010. Fifteen years cooking for Turramurra's families, its weeknight regulars and its Saturday celebrations have made us a genuine local fixture, not a name on a delivery app.

Turramurra's Local Indian Restaurant for 15 Years

Turramurra's Local Indian Restaurant for 15 Years

When you live in Turramurra, Jai Ho is the Indian restaurant you can walk to. We're a few minutes from Turramurra station on the Pacific Highway, with free street parking on the surrounding streets, so a Tuesday-night curry or a spur-of-the-moment family dinner never needs much planning.

We know our regulars by name and we know how they like their food. That's what fifteen years in one spot gives you — the kind of restaurant where the staff remember that you like extra garlic naan and your usual table by the window.

Dine In, Take It Home, or Book the Room

Most Turramurra locals know us for a proper sit-down dinner — North Indian classics, BYO wine, no rush. But we're just as set up for a quick takeaway on the way home, or a celebration in our upstairs function room, which seats up to 60 for birthdays, work dinners and family milestones.

Whatever the occasion, it's the same kitchen, the same spices toasted and ground fresh, the same tandoor running all service.

About Turramurra

About Turramurra

Turramurra (postcode 2074) sits near the top of Sydney's leafy Upper North Shore, in the Ku-ring-gai local government area. It's a established, family-oriented suburb of heritage and interwar homes on generous blocks, strung along the Pacific Highway and the North Shore rail line.

The village around the station — the shops, Turramurra Memorial Park, and the nearby Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden — gives the suburb a real centre. It's the kind of place where households put down roots for decades, which is exactly the kind of clientele a restaurant like ours is built for: people who come back, week after week, year after year.

In the Heart of the North Shore

Being on the highway in Turramurra puts us within a few minutes of half the Upper North Shore. As well as our home suburb, we regularly look after diners in Warrawee, South Turramurra and Pymble — all a short hop away.

Walk from the station, or park on the street and stay as long as you like.

What's Cooking Tonight

Our tandoor runs every service — naan cooked to order, chicken tikka, Lucknow sheekh kebab and lamb cutlets straight off the coals. If you want something milder, butter chicken and lamb shahi korma are Turramurra favourites; if you like more heat, our rogan josh and vindaloo bring it. Every curry is gluten free, and our vegetarian dishes are built as mains, not sides. Ask what's come off the tandoor tonight — we'll tell you straight.

Feeding a table of four or more? Our banquet sets take the guesswork out of ordering, or we can build a custom set around what your group likes. And since we're already in the neighbourhood, there's no need to plan days ahead — order through jaihoindian.com.au or the Jai Ho app for pickup or delivery, or use the app to book your table, whichever suits your evening.
